When Tesla founder Elon Musk announced that he would be releasing his own fragrance, many were upset that he didn’t pursue a musk-based fragrance. The opportunity was ripe, but instead, he opted for a hair-raising (or should we say burning) composition. This fragrance is called Burnt Hair, and while it is touted as being repulsive and quirky, we find it to be quite the novelty! Leave it to the SpaceX entrepreneur to be innovative in multiple industries! Burnt Hair is anticipated to ship in May of 2023, but due to our strong will and determination, we have managed to acquire a bottle of this currently unreleased novelty! Burn That Hair is for the moments when you want to feel nostalgic about the times you let the hair dryer sit too long in one spot or when you want to be reminded of the time when you mistakenly let your arm get too close to the stove burner when reaching for the frying pan in the back. Burn That Hair is the entrepreneurial fragrance of the year! We could make comments about Mr. Musk’s reputation, but we’d just be splitting hairs.

Yes. All perfumes at FragranceGems are original products from the brands we sell. They are delivered sealed in their original packaging and sourced through our regular supplier within the EU.

What's the difference between a sample and a full size?

A sample (decant) is a smaller amount of perfume (usually 2-10ml) that's perfect for testing a scent first. The full size is the original bottle as made by the manufacturer. Both contain exactly the same scent and quality - samples are ideal if you want to try a perfume before investing in a full bottle!

How long does a 100ml bottle of perfume last?

A 100ml bottle contains around 1200-1500 sprays. With average use (2-3 sprays per day), that lasts 1.5 to 2 years! That makes perfume very affordable per use. For special occasions, it naturally lasts even longer.

How quickly is my order shipped?

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days and then shipped with GLS, FedEx or DHL. After dispatch, delivery usually takes a further 3–5 business days, so 5–8 business days in total. You always receive a track & trace code. The delivery time for your country is listed in our shipping policy.

Can I return my perfume if I'm not satisfied?

Due to the hygienic nature of perfumes, we unfortunately can't accept returns on opened products. That's why we always recommend trying a sample first before ordering a full size. That way you'll know for sure the scent suits you! Unopened products can be returned within 14 days.

How should I store my perfume for the best shelf life?

Store your perfume in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid the bathroom due to humidity and temperature fluctuations. With good storage, perfume easily stays good for 3-5 years, often even longer. Always keep the cap tightly closed to prevent oxidation.
